I am mainly interested in abstract form created by texture and colour. Paper is my primary medium, mixed with paint, graphite, charcoal.
I have been looking closely at art for the last forty years and the looking has encouraged the practice over the last five years. I concentrated on writing before this. There is an overlap between what I do now and poetry: selecting and moving paper around many times to find the right configuration as opposed to selecting and moving words to find the right order.
