Jane Faires

Free, bright and sometimes wild style is very much Jane’s hallmark. Trained in Fine Art at Exeter Art College in Devon, Jane started out painting abstracts but found herself returning to figurative work and animals in particular. She takes her inspiration from the natural world and animals, both real & mythological, capturing the characteristics of her subjects with humour and warmth, working in jewel-like colours on canvas and card in both oils and acrylics. Her paintings, large and small, are highly collectable, joyful and full of light.
