Abigail Bowen

Moving between figurative and abstract approaches, Abigail’s work varies from simple outdoor sketches to more involved pieces, exploring subjects such as dementia, memory loss and the domestic.

Her work is characterised by a rich palette of mainly darker tones and dramatic composition. Abigail has previously shown as part of Snug Open House in Hove. This is her first solo Open House.

Abigail was born in Brighton and graduated in Fine Art (Painting) from Chelsea College of Art in 1996.
