New England House is a centre for some of the most exciting talent in Brighton. It is a diverse community of over 50 creative and entrepreneurial people working under one roof. Now in its 17th year, the December Open Studios Show is the only time in the year when the artists and makers open their doors to the general public. Visitors will have a chance not only to buy work direct from the makers, but also have the added excitement of seeing how and where they work and to commission unique new work.

Beautifully hand crafted items will be on sale and you will be able to talk to the artists and makers and enjoy the opportunity to select special gifts for Christmas. Items displayed for sale will include paintings, drawings, etchings, illustrations, screen prints, video, photography, stencil art, posters, artist books, children’s books , decorative glass, jewellery, three-dimensional art, pottery and ceramics, handmade tiles, mugs, accessories, embroideries, textiles and clothing, cushions, decorations, cards, calendars,  stationery, gift wrap, and more…  Mulled wine and mince pies will also be served. What more could you ask for?
