Kate Scott
“I use marks and colour instinctively to convey emotion, mood, response to nature, landscape and memory; there is often a battle between recklessness and control, natural expression and artificial order. The resulting truce is a feeling of balance, as if they have come into being – depicting a world within themselves.”
Kate paints from her home studio in Brighton. She looks forward to exhibiting at 2 Knoyle Road and can be present by arrangement should anyone wish to discuss her work. Kate also designs a range of cards which will be on sale.
