Naomi Márquez is Venezuelan, She works in terracotta and writes: “Earth … a magic word that symbolizes membership, maternity, parental, strength, return, union, passion, footprint, sand, dust ….That wonderful stuff in my hands turned sculpture that has been rising as columns, as tall menhirs looking like birds of the sky looking like faith in search of man…. I wish my pieces will inject a spiritual force people when they are in front of them, they move them the most beautiful and pure feelings. That’s why I raise them towards to heaven.”
