Victoria Gómez

My work is inspired by Nature and my close relationship with her. The language of my work is organic and reflects a deep insight into the shapes, backgrounds, lights and shadows found in natural environments. I use simple techniques and basic materials like paper, white glue and scissors which I combine with natural materials. My ongoing research in the paper techniques of Origami and Kirigami has allowed me to develop authentic work whose virtue is to transform ordinary material present in our lives in different ways.
