” First Year ….New paintings around my New Garden.”

A year has played its seasons, giving scope for paintings around my little garden’s evolution and constant change. Colour as always, is the trigger for my work, which encapsulates real experience but in an often abstracted form. From the anticipation and green shoots of early spring,  to riotous high summer – Through…”seasons of mists…” and autumnal leaf drop, to winter’s subtleties in colour and mood. My response and excitement in my surroundings during this special year has carried me through the body of work you will find hanging on the walls of 17 Barry Walk BN2 0HP (Kemptown Trail) where you will be welcome to venture into my painting studio and garden. Also on show will be paintings and unique monoprints from earlier times triggered by my travels both at home and away.
