Peter’s practice is concerned with the poetry of the everyday. He is interested in the landscape in which the epic of daily drama unfolds and the detail around which this endless cycle is played out. He is drawn to the sculptural, compositional and cultural qualities of the environment, such as the play of light on surface, colour, spatial relationships between unremarkable objects and the implicit and ambiguous metaphor these combined elements can evoke.
