Laura Callaghan is a British mixed media artist whose practice is dedicated to honouring the ocean and spotlighting the urgent issue of marine pollution and climate change. Based in Saltdean, Brighton, on the Sussex coast, Laura creates textural seascapes, assemblages, and experimental cyanotype works using beach-combed materials including organic materials, ghost gear, fishing rope, seawater and other recovered marine plastics. Her work transforms discarded debris into powerful visual storytelling, aligning with her ecofeminist belief that environmental and social justice are deeply interconnected.Media/artform: Mixed Media
