Ian Lawrence

My abstract paintings are built up in layers of acrylic, creating an intensely coloured three-dimensional surface. Based on the natural world, they evoke images of landscapes and clouds, many people saying they remind them of images from the Hubble telescope.

All the paintings are acrylic on canvas and they vary in size from 5ftx3ft to 10inches square.
