Janine Kilroe

Janine’s inspiration comes from the natural world, in the serenity and other worldliness of nature; the grandeur of the wilderness; and the detail of a flower or insect. Janine Kilroe takes wonderful photographs, printing them on to the finest, thick watercolour paper, then  applies colour by hand, with Derwent watercolour pencils, a highly skilled process which takes many hours. The results ; one off,unique ethereal images of British landscapes, flowers, skies and nature with a strange, luminous quality that no computer imaging could produce.
