Dan Conway
Dan started painting in 2014, and has a passion to invoke energy and an awareness of beauty through colour, texture and light. He has always been inspired by the work of Van Gogh, with the playfulness and movement of the strokes, as well as the simplification and focus of the content. He works in acrylics, enjoying the boldness of the colours, and the capacity to build up and layer the paint on the canvas. His approach to painting is an organic one. He believes that he is not the source of his creativity, but a conduit for it.
