Sculpting at the Martin Sculpture workshops can involve casting large public commissions but her own creative explorations use typically rebellious moves and often traditional casting methods are reinvented and adapted producing many unique finishes and forms.

Various strategies have been used over nearly 40 years of sculpting, but much is left purposely to chance and rapid decisions are needed to guide an emmerging piece. Working with and against Nature, forms are produced and resolved using the effects of the Elements on the materials.
