Tin City

‘Tin City’ is the mixed metal media brainchild of Bath resident Jo Nye.  Handmade recycled tin & metal shrines and decorative items produced under the Tin City banner can be found this year at 25 Stanley Rd Artist Open House, and are largely inspired by Jo’s love of Mexican folk art, religious icons & reliquaries, music & film, pulp fiction and pinup art.  Each piece is unique or stated as part of a limited collection based on a theme, and comprises of recycled cans/tins, found objects, carefully resourced and hand prepared shrink plastic or printed imagery, upcycled & repurposed vintage & modern broken costume jewellery, and scrap store materials to bring you one-off pieces to worship and adore!
