Matt Henry makes fictional, cinematic narratives inspired by the mid-century era. They comprise a sequence of photographs staged across set-builds and dressed locations. Each is storyboarded and typically features a cast of actors he directs. His work is internationally exhibited and held in private and museum collections.

He is currently showing as part of the Pop Art show Esprit Pop es-tu là ? in Deauville, France alongside Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Keith Haring.
