Having sold paintings about twenty years ago, 2020 Covid restrictions actually gave me the opportunity to step back from the company I run, Vervate. I paint in oils and have always been attracted to painting on big surfaces, having previously created theatre backdrops and creche murals. My work has multiple layers and impasto work to produce depth as well as movement. I am inspired by how humans journey through life and impact the world.
