Felipe Herrera

Herrera creates an iconography of human figures and horses, which are represented by showing their veins, muscles and tendons set with architectural elements in interior landscapes and the presence of an eye assuming various positions turns his gaze to an observer. His sculptures are an insatiable quest to communicate with symbols and codes. The baroque style of his work and the theatrical nature of his compositions take advantage of the possibilities of two-dimensional and three-dimensional resource space.
