Sam Keetley

My work nearly always uses strong bold colours, I like to work with oils & acrylics primarily using a pallet knife with sporadic brush work.  My work follows individual themes & these tie-up together with common threads, predominately nature, scenery, textures & patterns. The paintings are created focusing the energy from my emotional response to the subjects I see, they endeavour to pull at you & hook you in. I’m trying to create a contemplative, meditative state, the state achieved in many creative pursuits music, poetry, writing & sculpture.
