In a typically rebellious move, traditional casting methods are ambitiously adapted . There is a strong sense of game playing in this process. Various strategies are used but much is left to chance and rapid decisions are needed to guide the immergence of the eventual piece.

Also taking on various Public Commissions, very complex forms are created and cast by the Martin Sculpture Workshops. This may be time consuming but it enables the sculptures to be more reflective of material qualities and particularly personally expressive.
