Colourful paintings and cut paper collages of flowers, local landscapes and wildlife, linocuts, hand thrown and painted pottery, lampshades, cushions and mosaics… I love working in many different mediums, creating uplifting vibrant art and homeware.Having studied English at university it was only when I moved to Brighton over twenty years ago that I started exploring different arts and crafts in evening classes and short weekend courses. I did a course in graphic design for a year, but more recently have moved away from digital illustration back to painting, pottery and linocut – things I can make with my hands, away from screens, preferably listening to a good audiobook in my shed.
I have created an Skillshare class about block printing, which you can access on the Skillshare app and am planning to teach short courses of beginners linocut and block printing to small groups or individual classes.
