Waiting for the Breeze to Come

Jing Wang

Jing Wang is a British-Chinese ink painting artist based in Brighton and founder of Plum Blossom Ink Art. A member of Fiveways Artists Group and the Chinese Brush Painters Society (CBPS), Jing blends traditional Chinese brushwork with contemporary sensitivity.

Working with natural ink and mineral pigments on Xuan rice paper, she captures the spirit of flowers, birds, and landscapes, drawing inspiration from the Sussex countryside. Her style weaves fine-line detail with expressive freehand strokes, echoing the elegance of classical Chinese poetry.

Jing’s work has been exhibited widely across Brighton and Sussex, recognised by the BBC and the Society of Eastbourne Artists, and collected internationally.
