Experiment with charcoal

In her drawings Angela Edwards uses an array of types of charcoal and during this drop-in workshop you will get a chance to try them out. From flat tonal plains to expressive strokes, many different effects can be achieved. Having run charcoal drawing classes at Cass Art in Brighton, she says of sharing her love for the medium….
