Spoken Word performances at ALTERED

Hazel Davies, a spoken word artist and writer whose performance is featured in the short film Carrying Us, exhibited in ALTERED. Their work tends to discuss the domestic, gendered, and social.
Joining Hazel will be AFLO. The Poet, whose spoken word discusses social justice, mental health, and race along with Matt Alton, a page and performance poet who writes about disability, masculinity, and childhood.

Saturday 12 June
Various short performances between 1 and 2pm

Inside the exhibition ‘ALTERED’, Unit 18 Churchill Square (East entrance via Urban Outfitters and opposite Office shoe shop).

ALTERED is an exhibition of work by local emerging artists, sharing ways in which they have experimented, modified or adapted their practices in light of recent restrictions.
