  • Date:

Times: 10am - 5pm every day

Take a tour of a Goldsmiths’ workshop where traditional tools are used alongside cutting-edge technology to create contemporary designs in gold, platinum, and silver incorporating diamonds and unusual gemstones from all over the world.

Pruden and Smith are designers and craftsmen in precious metals whose passion for contemporary design shows in everything they do. Over the last 30 years their complete precious metal design-to-make service, from engagement rings to chalices, has delighted customers worldwide. Their gallery and workshop on Ditchling Crossroads is split over two floors with a gallery showcasing their designs and an on-site workshop which houses tools inherited from Anton Pruden’s grandfather, Dunstan Pruden.

Why not follow your tour with a visit to Ditchling Museum of Art and Craft which features the work and tools of Dunstan Pruden, silversmith of The guild of St Joseph and St. Dominic, founded by Eric Gill.
