Body Works – History, Memory and Absence

Three artists, with three individual approaches often referencing the body as a theme within their own practices:
Terrence Brett works with the memory of objects, using his own body as a reference and creating sculptural objects and 2d works.
For Teresa Whitfield‘s highly detailed ink drawings of historic lace from museum collections, she utilises a technique that is almost forensic in its precision.
Helen Goodwin works with the absence of the body, to create sculptural clothing from Swedish hand woven steel and prints from woven fabric.
