William is delighted to open his garden art studio and home for the first time. He welcomes you to view his wide variety of vibrant and exciting abstract paintings, created with layers of acrylic paint, water colours or ink, using various tools to explore different textures and overcome challenges. William is sharing his space with two friends and fellow artists.

An abstract painting made with layers of paint. The colour is predominantly blue in the background. Over the background of blue marks there are red, yellow, green, orange and pink marks. Most of the marks are in the lower half of the painting, although there are some that cover the upper half of the painting. The marks made have a variety of textures some are scratchy, and some are more fluid. The whole surface is covered with paint.

The picture is a collage made from screen printed imagery. There is a turquoise my little pony style toy with a pink tail. The pony stands in the foreground against a colourful background of pinks and yellows. The pony is surrounded by flowers birds and hearts.

An abstract painting on canvas. The colours are a mixture of greens, blues and turquoise and white. The brush marks move across the whole canvas covering the surface completely, the colours are layered and some of the marks hold the textures of the brushes and tools used. It is possible to see the texture of the canvas through the paint.

An abstract painting on watercolour paper. The colours are a mixture of gold, red, black, yellow and white. The paint is layered thickly, only small amounts of paper can still be seen at the edges. The red and gold have been applied first, then more delicate marks in black and white have been layered over the top.

An abstract painting made up of bold strokes. The colours are rich purples, yellows, a rusty orange and white. Some of the purple brush marks have a scratchy texture and some are made with thick smooth paint. White paint has been applied over some of the colours, creating a semi-opaque layer in places.

An abstract painting that is made up of many different brush strokes. The colours are a mixture of blues and greens, with a deeper blue, gold and yellow. The brush marks are layered and create textures with the different thicknesses of the paint used. The final lavers of gold and dark blue have been applied thickly the darker blue paint holds the texture of the brush that was used.

An abstract painting made with layers of paint. The colours are blues, greens, greys, violets, white and small amounts of yellow. Some layers on the painting are applied with thin layers of paint creating wash like marks, the paint has also been used more thickly in places. There is a final layer of opaque white paint applied in energetic marks across the painting.

This painting is abstract and made up of various acrylic paint strokes; the bottom layer of paint is poking through where areas were blocked out during the painting process; the bottom layer is orange and takes up the majority of the canvas, and there are sparser markings on top in darker orange, red, brown, and black.

Screen print collage Two figures in the style of Barbie type dolls, stare up towards the right of the picture. Next to each doll there are the numbers 36,24,36. The background is a mixture of blues greens and yellow. The figures are surrounded with birds, flowers and hearts.

They are surrounded by smaller flowers, hearts, cups of tea and there is a hot air balloon with Nimble written on it. The words control yourself are printed on to image at the bottom.
