2 Patsy McArthur

Flat 2, 77 Marine Parade, Kemptown, Brighton, BN2 1AE

Established figurative artist Patsy McArthur presents a solo exhibition of original drawings and paintings in her Regency home on the seafront. Her work explores the figure in movement, often dealing with themes of escapism and her latest series revisits the wild nights of her youth, losing herself on the dance floor. Her book, new limited edition prints and rarely available sketches from the studio will also be available.

“Often the moments I’m looking to capture are those where we’re lost; in movement, in music, in a shard of light, in ourselves.”

McArthur has exhibited extensively throughout the UK and internationally over the last 20 years. 2023 sees a major solo show of new charcoal drawings with her London gallery as well as art fairs in the US.

Enjoy her new work in a beautiful light-filled room with incredible views to the sea.
