I like to say I paint ‘The Edge of The Rainbow’. The term comes from Donna Tartt’s novel, The Goldfinch, describing a space just beyond reality, where beauty, magic and art exists. My paintings attempt to conjure this space, to grasp what lies just beyond what we can see. It’s a place that is blurry, shimmering, impossible to capture. I was born in Brighton and studied at Chelsea School of Art.
