Pruden and Smith create luxury and bespoke jewellery that blends a rich goldsmithing tradition with nature-inspired designs. Founded in 1988 and located in the Arts and Crafts village of Ditchling, their gallery showcases rugged textures and graceful curves, all handmade in their onsite workshop.
The Trap (Sussex Shore) collection draws inspiration from the organic contours of the Sussex landscape and the gradual, natural erosion seen along the chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters. Diamonds and sapphires emulate the forms of pebbles trapped in the distinctive chalk beds and wooden groynes of Birling Gap and Cuckmere Haven. Hammering techniques create these undulating structures in recycled gold and platinum. The collection celebrates the incidental beauty of the Sussex shoreline with Pruden and Smith’s signature raw, geological aesthetic.
