Come and visit my residence at Brunswick Square. I have been working on new vibrant prints that celebrate our beautiful city and the countryside. You will find from small A4 size prints, perfect for presents, to large panoramas and A0 size prints to wow any interior. I work from my original monochrome ink drawings to which I apply colour digitally, printed on archival paper and inks as limited edition digital pigment prints.

Print description Architectural elevation of Brighton Royal Pavilion surrounded by gardens planted with jasmine and sweet William. Among this bushes birds fly and mingle. The sky echoes Japanese geometric patterns , clouds and spring trees in bloom. Print details Digital pigment print from original ink drawings. Printed on fine art paper using archival inks. Available in sizes A0,A1, A2, A3 or A4 as limited editions of 100. Each print is individually signed and numbered. Homage to Hokusai This print is a homage to one of my favourite artists, Hokusai, for two reasons. The first reason is the choice of motifs that I have created which echoes some really beautiful natural patterns by Hokusai: the clouds, the branches in bloom, the bushes in flower, the birds and the geometrical background. The second is the method I have followed to create this design. Hokusai was a master and revolutionary printmaker. With this in mind and aid by modern technologies I have somehow recreated a printmaking approach to this print. My method consisted in drawing different sheets of original ink drawings that later on will form a single motif. This can be appreciated on the studio photograph of my ink drawings. For example I created the branches with four drawings: the block colour, the bark pattern, the flowers and the leaves. I love to express patterns of nature in art, it is a natural repetition with variation, it is a code of nature that is embedded in the DNA of every living being. Detail of print. Photograph of print base drawings. I make these formats with calligraphic brushes, fine-line markers, and other tools; in watercolour, ink and charcoal and on separate sheets of A3 size marker paper. These are scanned and form the main line work and patterns in the final print.
