37 Magic Theatres and Stars

Brighton Fishing Quarter Gallery, Kings Road Arches, Brighton, BN1 1NB

Imagine being a Victorian child peering with wonder into a little shop window of miniature cut-out theatres as the dark winter days draw in. The Toy Theatres of Sugg and Davidson recreate this nostalgic memory like a beacon of joyful light heralding the festive season.

Set in the Fishing Museum Gallery, this display of original hand-painted stage sets, prosceniums, puppets and kits are inspired by local places and historical events for you to enjoy.
