“I am a landscape architect turned landscape artist. My paintings are representational with a combination of semi abstraction and not an exact copy of what I see. My aim is not to render forms in any detail but instead I record them as coloured shapes. My colours are also a reinterpretation or an exaggeration of colours to add a visual joy to the scene.”
