Environment informs Art.
Before moving to Brighton 15 yrs ago I spent all my life in the Capital.
My environment influenced my creativity. Concrete forms, towers using photography as my tool. Always abstracting reality.
My emotional response to the coastal environment has since developed. My materials used mainly oils and mixed media.
A recent interlude in this journey I achieved in lockdown. This was a series of drawings, three examples of which are shown. A challenge of material resistance (watercolour v oil pastel). This was in the context of Lockdown and the Pandemic. My world is seeing, feeling, and expressing.
