Introduced to wickerwork on my retirement from a career in education, I find enormous pleasure in handling tools, in the language, the stories and lives embodied in willow basketry. Inspiration comes from the connections with the natural world, a heritage craft and a refreshing creative community – as well as a lovely, interested public!
