As a ceramic artist, I am inspired by the mysterious and transformative qualities of clay—a material that intricately mirrors both our external and internal worlds.Geodes, with their hidden mineral cores, serve as metaphors for the layers of complexity that characterize our inner lives. These ancient capsules of beauty invite exploration of the hidden and the unknown, a concept I strive to unfold through my work. My artistic practice delves into the intrinsic mysteries of materials and their capacity to narrate stories of change. I engage deeply with the textures and components of clay, investigating how these elements can flow, crack, melt, and transform throughout the creation process. Each sculpture is a journey, where the fluid and the solid converge, and where identity emerges from the interplay of raw materials and the forms that take shape. I explore the relationships between these materials and the human psyche, questioning how our sensory experiences shape our understanding.
