My pieces are inspired by the forms in nature from canyons to caterpillars, predators to prey. I often start by taking photographs of wildlife in their natural environment. Sometimes I am happy to recreate the animal in their realistic form but other times I use what I have captured as the source of my ideas – whether that is an abstracted form of reality or my emotional response.
