The private photographs of Lee Miller and her wartime buddy David E. Scherman.
During WWII accredited US war correspondents, Lee Miller – Vogue and David E. Scherman – LIFE Magazine, continually crossed paths as they followed the US allies across Europe, documenting the Liberation and the horrors of war, becoming one of the most highly regarded and often envied photo-journalist duos of the war.
