18 The Encaustic Workshop

Using hot wax Encaustic medium and commonplace materials, Tony Owers‘ work is an examination of impermanence and the concept that all that exists, without exception, is in a continuous state of change. He offers monthly two day workshops in Encaustic painting, which is suitable for beginners, practicing artists and students interested in using an ancient medium in a contemporary manner. The two day workshops offer teaching and practice with all materials together with refreshments supplied at a cost of £150 pp.
