Preferring to be part of the landscape, Sarah paints directly en plein air as well as drawing and sketching in oils. Painting in all seasons to experience the change in qualities of light, colour and sound, with a commitment to the emotional force, it is often the end of day skies that are central to her work. Sarah studied at Camberwell College of Arts 1991-1994 and is represented by galleries in London and Brighton.
