I am an artist working in ceramics to create atmospheric lighting pieces inspired by architecture. These pieces vary depending on the detail or architectural style that I am working on at the time. Clay bodies also vary, yet all finished works have a common, minimal theme where light plays its role in creating an atmosphere rather than function. The work also stems from interests in theatre design and story telling. The small spaces that I create are for viewers to build stories around - what happens in these empty spaces?
