Needle Felted Gnomes
Times: 2.30pm - 4.00pm
Try your hand at the endlessly versatile craft of needle felting with artist Roisin o’Hare.
Suitable for absolute beginners or those who have dabbled before, needle felting takes a loose pile of fluffy wool and, using specialist needles and tools, transforms it before your eyes into anything from cute animals and flowers, to abstract sculpture or lifelike portraits.
In this workshop you will be guided through the design and make process of a little felted gnome. The workshop is designed to give you a solid grounding in the art of needle felting; by the end you will take home not only a new felt friend but also an understanding of several basic needlefelting techniques, ready to apply to more of your own projects.
All materials and tools will be supplied.
Suitable for ages 16+. Maximum 4 participants.
