Create a retro computer world

  • Date:

Times: Saturday May 2nd 1pm - 4pm

Imposter Club Presents … Nodeventure

Create a retro shared computer world where strangers can play together.
Come help create a multi-player Text Adventure. Starting from a single room we expand it out together with written descriptions and images to create a sprawling, lo-fi, retro and weird world that can be inhabited by people from all over at once.

Bring: Laptop (or tablet) or we can pair you with someone who has one

No specific skills required, imagination and creativity are all you need.

Children welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Those with computer programming skills are also very welcome to change and manipulate the very fabric of the game word, we’re working in JavaScript (but if that means nothing to you then don’t worry).

We’ll exhibit the result at Imposter Club open house and encourage people to explore our world.
