The challenge is how to portray thoughtful moments and hidden narratives for the viewer, with extremes of expression, emotions, stress and sensuality, an unusual pose or just whimsical memories. To interpret these thoughts and ideas, to make sense of body shapes, plus the torsion in figures and to find some overall unity is never easy, frequently challenging, and often difficult to resolve. All part of moving forward and often opening the door to the serendipity of discovery. Taking on a life of their own, leading me down unexpected avenues.
