Tichborne Gallery is in the centre of Brighton in a former Victorian ice house.
Colin met Bert at the Goldsmiths Painting School in Surrey Docks in 1972.The painters had been moved away from the main college to a former Port Authority Weigh Station – which meant tutorials in the pub and a dodgy boiler.
Bert’s Christmas card prints are featured in a celebration of abstraction.
