Visit St Peter & St James Hospice and its beautiful gardens: a rural sanctuary in the heart of Sussex. Admire art created by The Attic Art Club; portrait and landscape painter, Jane Allison, and photographer, Christina Chelmick. Spot birds and butterflies on a tour of the Woodland Walk and enjoy stunning views of the South Downs with a cuppa and slice of cake. You can also meet the two most mischievous members of the hospice team: the donkeys, Dudley and Dylan!

About the artists:

Jane Allison is a portrait and landscape painter and has work in many private and public collections. She has exhibited widely, including with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and in the BP Portrait Award as a prize winner.

The Attic Art Club is a group of around thirty professional and semi-professional artists, founded more than 70 years ago in an attic in Ditchling by talented artist, Rose Cobban. Members include not only painters using a wide range of media and styles: evocative watercolours, stunning abstracts and fascinating portraits, but also sculptors, ceramicists and a glass artist.

Christina Chelmick is an international award winning photographer, focusing on location photography of people and places. She is a long standing supporter of the hospice, taking beautiful photos at events and of hospice life itself.
