The gallery and workshop of Pruden and Smith are located on the crossroads at the heart of the Arts and Crafts village of Ditchling. For over 30 years Pruden and Smith’s head designer Rebecca Smith has been creating unique jewellery using recycled gold, silver, platinum, and unusual gemstones from all over the world. Her recent collections are inspired by the natural landscape of the Sussex Coast.

For the AOH 2022 Winter festival, Pruden and Smith’s team of skilled craftspeople have been busy creating handmade pieces in 9ct white, yellow, and rose gold, with diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds.

During your visit why not take a tour of their workshop to learn about the materials, techniques, and processes used to create their distinctive work. During your tour you will also discover how to recycle your old unworn jewellery into something new using their redesign service. Workshop tours can be booked on their website.

This ring is 15mm wide at the front, comprised of 5mm and 6mm white gold side hammered bands with a 3mm yellow gold centre soldered together and is set with 1ct of round diamonds in between the bands.

Aquamarine Chunk Diamond Stacking Dress Ring handmade in recycled yellow gold with a half carat recycled round brilliant diamond and an 18 mm AAA rough aquamarine gemstone. The metalwork has a rough hammered texture and the bands are 3mm in width. The Diamond and Aquamarine sit on top of the bands and are in bezel settings where the gold goes all the way around the stones..
