This year, Encounters’ artists were asked to reflect on what it means to be an artist today, considering current political and socio-economic challenges. As a response, this edition showcases scaled-down art works that are expansive in ambition but compact in form, making them luggable, thereby widening the opportunity for international artists to mingle with local artists.

Visitors can also enjoy delicious food and opportunities for art classes, performances and live music.
