Carlos Luis Sanchez

As a tireless traveller, Carlos has received inspiration from many places he has visited. He recalls a visit to Quebrada de Jaspe in the Venezuelan jungle where a stream of crystalline water runs over a natural bed of the mineral jasper. Scenes such as these are Nature providing a source of inspiration. In addition, mindful of mankind’s creative force, some of Carlos’s pieces show the influence of ancient cultures: Egyptian, Celtic, South American-Indian amongst them as well as from modern art.
