Heike Roesel

I create my etchings by using colours, lines and shapes in a playful way and adding the resulting imagery to my initial idea for an etching.
It is the focus of my artistic work to create these ‘worlds of their own’, inspired by every-day life, my surroundings and my imagination. I hope to inspire an observer’s imagination so they can discover their own individual ‘picture’ in my etchings.
Then I have achieved something worth doing.
